Archived Policy

1. Purpose
The Eco AgriTech Frontiers Journal (EATFJ) Archive Policy ensures that the content published within the journal is preserved for future reference, research, and academic purposes. This policy outlines the procedures for archiving journal articles and materials, ensuring that they remain accessible to readers, authors, and researchers over time.

2. Archiving Practices
EATFJ follows best practices for archiving journal content, including the following:

  • All articles published in the journal are archived in digital formats and are stored in reputable, long-term digital preservation services and repositories.

  • EATFJ participates in globally recognized archival systems such as CLOCKSS, Portico, and the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to guarantee the permanent availability of its scholarly record.

  • Articles are preserved in multiple formats (e.g., PDF, HTML, XML) to ensure accessibility and compatibility across various platforms.

  • The journal complies with open-access and digital preservation standards to ensure the longevity of published content.

3. Long-Term Accessibility
Articles published in EATFJ will be made freely accessible on our platform and are archived to ensure perpetual access. Our primary preservation strategy includes participation in the following:

  • CLOCKSS

  • Portico

  • PKP Preservation Network (LOCKSS)
Additionally, content is indexed in prominent academic and research databases such as:

  • Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)

  • Google Scholar

  • Institutional repositories

  • Other relevant repositories for academic preservation
We strive to ensure that all past issues and articles remain accessible without barriers, ensuring that researchers, practitioners, and the public can continue to benefit from the journal’s content.

4. Withdrawal or Removal of Articles
In accordance with academic and ethical standards, an article may be withdrawn or removed from the active journal platform under the following circumstances:

  • Proven research misconduct or ethical violations (e.g., plagiarism, falsification).

  • Legal issues, including copyright violations or conflicts with third-party rights.

  • Author or publisher request for retraction, in accordance with established retraction policies.

  • Technical errors or discrepancies identified in the article post-publication.
In such cases, articles will be marked as "withdrawn" or "retracted" on the journal's website, and appropriate explanations will be provided. Please note that in line with the policies of our designated digital preservation services (CLOCKSS, Portico, PKP PN), a preserved copy of the original published version will be retained in their archives for historical and research integrity purposes.

5. Access to Archived Content
Once published and archived, content is permanently preserved. Authors, researchers, and readers can access and download all articles in accordance with the journal’s open-access policy from the EATFJ website. In the unlikely event the journal is no longer available, content will remain accessible through our preservation partners (CLOCKSS, Portico, and PKP PN).

6. Backup and Data Protection
We maintain regular backups of all content and operational data to protect against loss. These backups are stored securely in compliance with industry standards for data protection and information security. Our participation in third-party preservation networks provides an additional, distributed layer of data security, ensuring the continued integrity and accessibility of the journal’s scholarly content.

7. Revisions to the Archive Policy
EATFJ reserves the right to update or revise this Archive Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated through our website and will take effect immediately upon publication of the updated policy. We will notify stakeholders of any significant changes to ensure that our archival procedures remain transparent and up to date.
