Ethical Policy

This policy outlines the requirements for ethical conduct and reporting for all submissions to Eco AgriTech Frontiers (EATF). As a journal dedicated to research in agriculture, technology, and environmental sustainability, EATF is committed to upholding the highest standards of research integrity, with a focus on environmental impact, animal welfare, and responsible technology deployment.

1. Ethical Conduct for Studies Involving Animals, Plants, and the Environment

EATF requires that all research involving animals (e.g., livestock, wildlife), plants, or field studies must have been conducted in accordance with the ethical standards of the responsible institutional or national research committee and with relevant international guidelines.

1.1. Animal and Livestock Research

Mandatory Approval: All experiments involving animals must comply with institutional, national, or international guidelines for the care and use of animals. Authors must state that the study was approved by the relevant institutional ethics committee or equivalent body.

Welfare: Research must minimize animal suffering and adhere to the principles of the "Three Rs" (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement).

1.2. Field Studies and Environmental Research

Permits and Permissions: Authors conducting research in protected areas, on private land, or involving endangered species must confirm that all necessary permits and permissions were obtained from the relevant local, national, or international authorities.

Environmental Impact: Research should be conducted in a manner that minimizes negative environmental impact. Studies on new technologies (AgriTech) must include a discussion of their potential long-term ecological and socio-economic effects.

1.3. Human Subjects Research (e.g., Surveys, Socio-economic Studies)

Informed Consent: For studies involving human participants (e.g., farmers, consumers, community members), authors must confirm that informed consent was obtained and that the study was approved by an IRB or Ethics Committee.

2. Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Registration (PRISMA)

For systematic reviews and meta-analyses, EATF strongly encourages authors to register their protocol in a publicly accessible registry (e.g., PROSPERO) prior to commencing the review. Furthermore, authors must adhere to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) statement to ensure comprehensive and transparent reporting of their methodology and findings. Adherence to PRISMA, including the use of the PRISMA checklist and flow diagram, is a mandatory requirement for submission.

3. Conflict of Interest and Funding

Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest, including financial, personal, or other relationships with other people or organizations that could inappropriately influence their work. All sources of funding for the research must be explicitly stated in the manuscript.
